Trust this message finds you in the pink of health and buoyant spirits as we mark the beginning of yet another exciting academic year. As the Director of Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology (BTKIT), I want to share my plans for the journey ahead.

I would like to acknowledge your assiduous efforts, commitment and dedication in pursuit of excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. As we navigate together, remember that the journey is unique, and your voice plays a prominent role in building the vibrant academic ambience in the institution. As an institution we are planning to participate in national/international accreditation & ranking and your association in this is of tremendous importance.

The institution is gearing up to establish connections with the industries, research institutions and is in process to empanel the professionals to train you on specific technical and soft skills. The institution is also taking proactive steps in developing the competency building laboratories and creating space for Centers of Excellence (CoE) which shall specifically address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We are in the process of creating an ecosystem where every student feels valued and empowered.

Your participation in flagship conferences, symposiums, consortiums and all other academic outreach activities will add value to the institution’s profile and visibility. The institution shall support each one of you in the holistic development. I encourage you to embrace this academic year with an open mind, positive attitude for professional competence and growth.
