CIVIL ENGINEERING
Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil Engineering takes place on all levels: in the public sector from municipal through to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies. The department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering The department has justifiably prided itself on the quality of its academic programmes and is keeping pace with the latest developments in engineering education. The Department actively promotes curriculam development activity by updating existing courses, developing new courses and preparing resource material for teaching. The faculty of the department continues to strive loftier by exploring new frontiers of knowledge, imparting the latest technical knowledge to the students and conducting high quality of research.

Mission:
1.To provide state of art teaching and laboratories to impart theoretical and practical knowledge
2. To provide students with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyse engineering problems.
3. To promote students awareness for the lifelong learning based on ethical values and to provide them opportunities to work as individual and a team on multidisciplinary project
4. To encourage students to inculcate communication skills, curricular, extracurricular, co- curricular activities for overall personality development and be a responsible person for society.
