Biochemical Engineering
The Biochemical Engineering Department has started B. Tech program in Biotechnology in the academic year 2023-2024 to cater both industry as well as research/academia. The program offers a set of core multidisciplinary and specialized elective courses. The department has highly qualified faculty, each with a minimum of a decade of teaching experience to provide excellent classroom teaching and laboratory work. Apart from industry oriented research work, the department also aims at exploring vast biodiversity available for the development of processes and products in the field of Biotechnology through research, training and technical innovation

Mission of the Department –
- To provide industry oriented quality contemporary subjective knowledge of Biotechnology to undergraduate students.
- To inculcate critical, analytical and comprehensive approach to problem solving in the field of biotechnology.
- Prepare students effectively for professional employment in the field of biotechnology where they can deal with and solve real life problems individually as well as a part of a team to garner innovative technological solutions to industrial and research obligations
