Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology, Dwarahat is one of the finest institutions of Uttarakhand, maintaining an excellent academic record. The institute carved a niche for itself in the corporate world and has lately become a synonym for campus placement. The Institute's Training and Placement Cell provides a launch pad for students to make it to the best organizations in the fields of software, core industries, management, Engineering, etc. The biggest names of the corporate world visit the campus on a regular basis, with enviable recruitment offers. Our students have come up to the expectations of the organizations that visit our campus, looking for bright candidates to take up important and challenging responsibilities at their workplace. The T&P Cell boasts of maintaining an excellent rapport with a wide spectrum of companies spread across various industry sectors. Over the years, the T&P Cell has maintained good and strong relationship with Industries across the country and as a result, has built up an impressive placement record both in terms of percentage of registered students placed, as well as the number of companies visiting the campus.
The T&P section assists the departments in placement of students at major industries. Our students are placed in more than 25 companies, which include company visited campus over the period of time with a package ranging from 2.8 to 9 lac per annum. We truly appreciate the faith bestowed on us from several organizations and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them.
The cell also educates the students with various career opportunities in different areas such as Public Sector, Armed forces and Government Sector services by conducting guest lecture regularly. It is heartening to state that reputed industries across the country visit our college regularly for campus recruitment. It is observed that most of the reputed companies allow students with 60 % Engineering Aggregate to appear for the Campus Recruitment Process. Majority of students with first class and good communication skills receive offer letters of reputed companies before their Technical Degree Certificate (Engineering). In order to give equal opportunity to all the students of our institute, we follow the policy of “ONE STUDENT ONE OFFER” i.e once a student is placed in a company, he / she is not permitted to appear for the successive recruitment process of other companies.
